Country report for Croatia

The report refers to the research which was conducted within the project “Protecting victims of gender-based violence – responding to the challenges of the pandemic (RISKFREE)” funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme of the European Commission.

The aim of this research is to detect international standards and obligations related to risk assessment in cases of violence against women, and to determine how our country is aligned with these standards and obligations.

Also in the report we present the most important research results on women’s experiences with institutions and NGOs before and during the pandemic, as well as conclusions and recommendations based on our research.
