To commemorate 30 years of continuous efforts in combating violence against women, the Autonomous Women’s House Zagreb (AŽKZ) launched a campaign highlighting the importance of protecting women’s rights, providing support to survivors of violence, and advocating for systemic social change. The campaign consisted of video materials and four visuals, which used powerful messages and symbolism to remind the public of three decades of dedicated work and the need for continued action.
As part of the campaign, visuals and video materials were published on AŽKZ’s social media channels to raise awareness among citizens and institutions about the prevalence of gender-based violence and the necessity of a systemic response to protect women and children. The campaign’s key messages emphasized the importance of ensuring safe spaces for survivors, continuously educating society and institutions, and improving the legal framework to prevent impunity for perpetrators.A special contribution to the campaign came from the Morgan Grey agency, which donated the design of visuals and video materials, enhancing the visibility and impact of the campaign’s messages. This support once again demonstrated how collaboration between civil society, experts, and the business sector can contribute to the fight against violence against women.
